I retained Christy to help fight the relocation of my two children across the country. She jumped on the case and began working immediately on strategy and drafting the paperwork for the objection. I Hired Goldburg Jones after hearing their adds about Fathers rights. Chisty was assigned to my case and we got along very well. After a while, I struggled to get any sort of response from her. It got to the point I had to contact the managing attorney in order to get her to respond. After that, she ...was better. She was always very professional in her dealings, very articulate and professional in the court room, but I would have liked her to be more aggressive as the opposing attorney was something else! I lost almost everything. I finally got caught up with my attorney bill as they are not allowed to work for you at the firm unless you have a retainer there, so I caught up on the retainer as well. I was just trying to file contempt charges on my ex for not allowing me to see my children against the parenting plan. She started the process and then vanished again. This time for 6 months no response. I left numerous messages at her office, her cell phone, email, text and even asked the staff if she was still employed there. Not one time did I get a response, not to this day have I heard from her. I had to request to get what was left of my retainer back from the staff. Not even a not of apology with the returned check. After all that effort, I had not seen my children in over 2 years. So my take is simply this. The adds about Fathers rights are just a ploy to get you in the door. A lost leader of sorts. Once you are out of money, or you are an obvious "small potatoes" case, you have no value to them. Now after all the time of not seeing my children, they are so brainwashed they want nothing to do with me and I am beyond sick and massively depressed. My kids were everything to me and putting my trust in Christy and Goldburg Jones has crushed my very being. Now my new attorney says it is not likely I can do much about it because too much time has passed and my ex has gotten away with destroying their future buy taking away the only stable person in they life. Trully tragic.
