Non- human

Christy filed motions that deliberately harmed and created abusive use of conflict for my children.

Amazing

I couldn’t have asked for better representation from Christy. She helped me with modifying the parenting plan and establishing child support. She is very knowledgeable, efficient, and very personable. She made me feel as if I was in good hands and at ease with her honesty, humor, and straight to the ...point approach. Christy is a great attorney and I would highly recommend her.

Unprofessional

I had an hour consultation in which she agreed to an emediatle letter being written, as well as a plan for retaining her as my representation on a modification with domestic violence. I made it clear that I anticipated a big fight leading to a possible trial from my wealthy ex on this matter. I left... her office feeling confident that I had found the attorney for me. Especially when she said that she could start with a letter for the emediate pending situation and go forward from there with a retainer. I told her I saved for months to afford a retainer. But after three weeks of leaving messages I finally received a call from someone else in the office informing me that they didn't call me back because "they don't write free letters, and how busy they are with big, high stakes litigation and emergency situations for children." They simply did not have the time to take my case. I felt like I was not worthy of their services, that my domestic violence was not worth their time, as well as the safety of my son was not worth their defense. I think they really thought I had no money so they just didn't return calls for weeks, even to simply tell me they weren't taking my case. My final thought is that Christie and her assistent are unprofessional with no communication protocols, poor work ethics, and little to no morals to follow through with her verbal agreement with a human being coming to her for help. And to make matters worse she communicated her version of the situation very far from the truth, and had someone else handle the return call to me. Very unprofessional.

PreNup Agreement

My wife and I hired Christy to draft a prenuptial agreement for us earlier in 2016. When Christy sent over a draft of the document, it appeared to be a mish-mash of several different documents copied and pasted together. I had my business lawyer review it, and my wife also had her lawyer look over ...the document. Both lawyers came back to us and suggested we re-draft the document from scratch - they both advised us not to use the document drafted by Christy, as it was poorly written, not professional, and not likely to protect our assets going into our marriage. My wife's lawyer said she could re-write it for $1k and my business lawyer ended up re-writing it for about $750, which is what we paid Christy to do it for. After having the document re-written, we circled back with Christy to simply get a signature from her to represent my wife, and she refused saying it was a conflict of interest - yet she waited until THE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING to respond to us giving us no time to seek out other counsel. The lack of communication, poor consultation, and the fact that she had no desire to rectify anything or help out in the end was a disgrace to her firm. We would not recommend this firm or Christy to anyone. We requested a refund on her poorly drafted document, which was not even usable, and she said that her firm put double the amount of time and money into it. Our recommendation is to keep looking for legal representation, as Christy has no desire to promote customer service, no integrity, slow response time, and overall left us with a terrible experience. She charged us $750 and we got absolutely nothing from her services; when we asked for a refund, she basically spit in our faces.
