Biography
Kripa Upadhyay is the Founder and Principal Attorney at Orbit Law, PLLC, a law firm based in the Greater Seattle area that serves clients all across the US and abroad. Over the years, Kripa's practice has encompassed every aspect of Immigration practice.
Kripa currently focuses on Corporate Immigration via her work with international investors, human resources and global mobility professionals to optimize their companies' immigration programs. She guides strategies for recruiting and retaining foreign talent, and provides immigration plans for international mergers and acquisitions. She helps companies address the challenges of US Immigration compliance, and has worked with major corporations to build out compliant Immigration visa programs securing a variety of short term and long term visas/ residency for their global employees.
She also assists Individuals with their Immigration processes wether through family based (Adjustment of status; fiance visa etc) or merit based petitions (such as National Interest Waiver, EB-1 etc)
A first generation Immigration from Nepal, Kripa herself has been through the Immigration process; therefore, is intimately aware of the stress and exhilaration that the immigration journey entails. Working with my team, also a group of Immigrants to the US, we utlitize our own lived experiences and fluency in multiple languages to provide personalized service to our clients.

Impatient consultation and incomplete answers
Kripa provided certain answers in a crisp manner. But she was hurrying with her answers and showed no patience for me to ask basic questions.
