"While Mikel may be a newer attorney as of the date I write this, she is an excellent attorney. I recently mediated a case in which she represented one of the spouses involved. Mikel came to mediation prepared with what appeared to be her trial binder full of exhibits ready to go for trial, and she knew every single document in that binder. One of the signs of how well prepared an attorney is comes from seeing just how well they know the facts of their case. Knowing the case as well as she did only helped her client when the negotiation got down to the nitty-gritty details. While she is an excellent attorney, there were some facts in favor of the other side, but Mikel was never daunted and in the end, from my perspective as a neutral, helped her client get a great settlement and avoid a very financially and emotionally costly and draining trial."
