A couple years into recovery, our son was arrested for a crime he did not commit, and his past came back to bite him in a big way. He was arrested (DUI, attempt to elude, Hit & Run Unattended Property Damage triggering a fugitive/Governor’s warrant) and the police looked no further than him, because ...of his past record in other cities/states.
