Passion for her client

Susan was a God-send when a seemingly smooth divorce process suddenly turned for the worse. Susan stayed level and worked the process in getting me through an incredibly stressful time in my life. I know she worked non-billed hours to bring this to completion and I'm forever grateful for her guidance... through this difficult journey.

Excellent Attorney. Highly Recommend

Susan came highly recommend to me to help deal with a difficult time in my life. She was easily able to navigate me through the legal process of a divorce and child custody, explain my options, and help achieve the desired result. Hands down I would use her again (although hoping I won't have too) a...nd would recommend her to anyone who is starting or thinking about going down that path. She is amazing!

Simply THE BEST

I first hired Susan to represent me in a difficult case involving domestic violence against me. She helped me and my children stay safe. I hired her a second time to process the divorce and the outcome was the best possible situation for me and my children. Susan is professional yet approachable, and... her expertise is vast. I have since consulted with her on a number of occasions and recommended her services to several friends. She is a trustworthy advocate for families and children.

Hired again, great experience

I've reviewed Susan once a couple years ago, but I'm back online to offer more info. I have contacted Susan several times over the years, and she has always been extremely helpful. She doesn't over charge for each and every question, but bills as appropriate and is MORE than fair. MORE important tha...n billing, is her guidance and her calm demeanor. I'm extremely thankful to know Susan and I would highly recommend her. As a matter of fact, I have. I have recommended her several times to others and will continue to keep her at the top of my referral list.

Beyond Excellent Representation

My case was complicated, and after interviewing several family law attorneys and at the recommendation of a friend of mine, who is also a family law attorney, I hired Susan Alexander to represent me because of the complexity of my case. Long story short: A judge signed off on final divorce docume...nts even though my ex-husband and I weren't done negotiation. His counsel altered signed documents and asked the judge to agree to the terms due to default. The judge signed the documents and the divorce was final without any input from me, with the exception of the parenting plan. I interviewed several family law attorneys and none of them caught what Susan caught. My ex-husband's attorney altered signed documents not once, but twice, and the judge signed off on them. Susan was able to have my divorce case re-opened to allow for renegotiations AND was able to get my ex-husband's attorney sanctioned, which is big deal, from what I hear. It's a "no-no" for an attorney to alter signed documents, and the judge (a different judge) let her know that it was unacceptable practice, The judge questioned the quality of the other cases my ex-husband's attorney has handled due to her lack of integrity in representing my ex. Susan diligently works hard for her clients. She's compassionate and fierce, which is a great combination for someone who you want representing you. Thank you, Susan!

"I have been opposing counsel with Susan on several matters over the years. Each time she has been a smart and zealous advocate for her client while also knowing when discussion and negotiation will better solve a problem. She has the people skills to not fan flames and make a situation worse - a sometimes rare talent in the legal field. I endorse this lawyer,"

"I endorse this lawyer. I work in the same office suite as Susan and I am impressed by her knowledge and skills. I would call her a "lawyer's lawyer" in that she is a person other lawyers consult when they have a difficult case. Susan is a strong advocate for her clients and an outstanding litigator. I have no hesitation in referring litigated divorces to her."
