Highly Recommend Ray Pollari

Ray handled my problem quickly and professionally. Should another issue arise, I will not hesitate to retain him again.

Attorney Review

I was fortunate enough to find Ray Pollari as an attorney regarding my divorce case. Mr. Pollari was handling the divorce case long distance as I was out of the country. He was professional, prompt at returning my phone calls and excellent at keeping me informed of the progress of the case I found... him easy to do business with and would highly recommend him.

Poor Communication and Service

I had a very disappointing experience working with Ray Pollari on my divorce case. Throughout the representation, he was condescending and extremely difficult to get ahold of. Responses routinely took weeks, and in some instances my questions went unanswered for months. The only communications that w...ere consistently prompt were requests for additional payment. When I asked reasonable questions about the timeline and progress of my case, Ray responded with a snarky email and shortly thereafter withdrew from my case altogether. After hiring a new divorce attorney, she identified multiple oversights and errors in Ray’s work that could have resulted in a significant financial loss had they not been caught and corrected. To make matters worse, after he was no longer my attorney, Ray attempted to bill me approximately $1,200 in erroneous fees. I was able to have these charges reversed only after contacting his supervisor. Overall, the work was substandard, communication was poor, and the experience added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I strongly recommend thinking twice before hiring him. This was a terrible experience.

Unprofessional

Hiring Ray was a huge mistake. I was desperate and many other family law/divorce lawyers were unable to work within my time frame, I thought my prayer had been answered when he agreed to take my case and was so disappointed. First, I confided in him regarding abuse issues involving me and my young... children. He gaslit me into believing I was being dramatic and no one would care. Then the night before zoom mediation he said he was too sick and would not be online to support me. A colleague stepped in and after reading the file was immediately shocked that my very real abuse concerns were neglected, in hindsight it seemed he didn't want to put any actual effort into my case. Infact he told the mediator that he felt my needs were neglected by Ray and that he was concerned about how the case was handles this far. After about 5 hours of mediation Ray logged on and took over for his colleague. At this time he asked me to type my own legal documents because of tech issues and went back to disregarding my concerns. Now I have a trash parenting plan because the exact issues I brought up have happened and they were not addressed because Ray told me it was too specific and unneeded. Also, there are many typos that were not caught that have caused problems, the terms were not write as agreed upon. Plus, I got charged for him to call me and tell me I was without a lawyer the night before mediation (730 pm), I got charged for him to sit in mediation and participate little to not at all, and got charged for months after the whole ordeal was over for services I didn't receive. When I finally got tired of paying for services I wasn't receiving and asked for a receipt and breakdown of work completed I was told "oh nevermind don't worry about it we will just write it off" leading me to believe I was being wrongfully billed to begin with. I asked many times and never saw what I was billed for the last few times I paid. I felt as if I was lured into a scam that cost me tens of thousands of dollars.
