I came to h...er after a botched recommendation from a different attorney to represent myself in my civil protection order hearing, which did not turn out in my favor. From the moment I spoke with her I could tell I was in a good hands and that she genuinely cared. Liza laid out all my appeal options; she was transparent and honest about the timeline and what she believed my options/chances were. I appreciated her candor in this situation as she carefully reviewed the details of my case and how to best approach it despite it being an uphill battle. She was communicative and engaged with me through the whole process and kept me updated the whole way because she knew that put me at ease. Liza remained a dedicated and meticulous protection order attorney, and did not give up on my case even though it was very tricky. She worked to put my case in front of a Judge and made sure my Motion for Revision was as strong as possible which ended up proving successful for us! I ended tenancy of a renter. On the move out date the renter filed a Sexual protection order. Through the delays with the renter obtaining counsel, dismissing counsel, requesting court appointed council and trying to negotiate a resolution, Liza clearly guided me through all the proceeding.
