Biography
Ms.Gaisford received her Juris Doctor Degree with distinction from Duke University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Whitman College. A lecturer and panelist for the American Association for Justice and NITA, she has tried more than 200 cases to juries, served as a pro tem Judge in Marietta, Ohio and as attorney to Washington Technical College. She has extensive experience in litigation both in criminal defense and personal injury.
Gaisford, a third generation Washington native, currently serves as a member of the Board of Overseers of Whitman College. She is a member of the Board of Bar Examiners of the State of Washington. She also practices Indian Law and serves as the public defender for the Suquamish Tribe. She is admitted to the Washington, Ohio and West Virginia Bars as well as Tribal Courts of the Suquamish, S'Klallam, Puyallup and Stillaguamish. She is also admitted to Federal District Courts in Washington, Ohio, West Virginia, Utah and Tennesse.
