By all measurements of success in handing my divorce, Brook failed. Brook did not fight for my rights for my kids, or protect my financial interest. My ex’s lawyer was successful in all their efforts including severely limiting my access to my kids as well as failing to protect my investments and... future financial security. Brook just did the paperwork and lost all proceeding with the court. After reflecting on Brook’s lack of ability to effectively fight for my rights, it has become apparent that all Brook was interested in was his billing. As an example, he charged me over $13,000.00 just to handle emails. I had another lawyer, who is an expert in lawyer billing, review his bill and his analysis was my bill was out of line based on industry norms. Be very careful with this lawyer. I would not recommended him, period!!

Brook definitely fits the term "put your money where your mouth is!" When Brook says he will do something, he does it! As an attorney Brook is organized, informed, level headed, logical, strategic , honest and professional . On a personal level he is compassionate, diplomatic, reliable, and respectf...ul to all parties involved. He also showed true care and concern for both me as a person and for my specific circumstances/case. Initially Brook tried to find a way to settle my case in a diplomatic and amicable way in the effort of trying to avoid dragging me through a long and expensive process, but once he was clear that the other party didn't share the same goal he quickly shifted gears onto getting prepared for trial. My case was a very unusual one so it took extensive research, documentation, preparation and teamwork to get prepared for trial, but we worked together as a team to gather all of the necessary documentation and supporting evidence and in the end it really paid off, we prevailed!

Brook Goddard was extremely helpful in assisting me with parenting plan modifications. He was responsive, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. He asked the right questions and put me at ease. There were several times when I needed responses right away, and he was able to make it happen. Somet...imes I wasn't sure what my rights were and Brook took the time to explain my options.
