Thanks to Michele, our family is now COMPLETE!

My husband has been wanting to adopt my daughter. He has raised her since she was 2, she is now 14. We contacted an office near our home that directed us to the Adoption Coordinator in Tacoma. She gave us a list of attorneys that would be able to work with us. I reviewed each of the attorneys and kne...w Michele would be the one we needed. After our initial conversation, I knew it my heart we made the right choice. She was very thorough in every aspect of what we could expect and what we might need to do if the non-custodial parent was not cooperating. We had no idea of how to contact the non-custodial parent as he was absent from her life since age 2. In less than 24 hours, Michele found him and called me. She spoke with him and advised that my husband wanted to adopt my daughter. Long story short, he signed his rights over! We had our Adoption interview with the Adoption Coordinator and within a few weeks we had our hearing date! Michele was there to answer all my questions via phone, email and text. My family and I would recommend her services to anyone looking for adoption assistance. She is truly amazing and we are very grateful to her!

Excellent attorney

We hired Michele as our attorney for an out of state adoption. Michele was very helpful, positive, knowledgeable, and did a great job keeping us informed throughout the process. She worked well with the attorney from the state where our baby was born and seemed to really care about how we were doing... during the whole adoption process. Our adoption was recently finalized and we couldn't be happier. Michele is an excellent attorney and we would not hesitate to hire her again. Her rates are more than fair and she was always there for us when we had any questions or concerns.

Very knowledgable and trustworthy. Highly recommend

We recently hired Michele Hinz to represent our family in a step-parent adoption. When I first started the process of researching lawyers I was very discouraged. Many attorneys wouldn't take on my case because there were too many unknowns or they said it was too complicated, or I didn't get call back...s, etc. when I called Michele it was a completely different experience. For starters, she answered her phone. It wasn't a secretary, or paralegal, it was her. It felt very personable. She took the time to hear my story from the beginning and help me understand what would be needed from me to move forward. She explained with lots of patience all the bumps in the road we might face but was very helpful and clear of how we could handle them step by step. Her communication was very prompt, clear, and professional. She made things easy to understand and made all the paperwork manageable. She answered emails, phone calls, and text promptly and efficiently. She always kept us updated on the latest developments and always in the loop of what she was doing. She was very clear with the financial aspect as well which I very much appreciated. The transparency is what made me sure I wanted to hire her because I knew I could trust her. When it was all said and done we couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome. I would highly recommend her. She is smart, sharp, knowledgeable, and most importantly, she can be trusted.

Exceeded Expectations - Professional and Genuinely Cares.

Not only would I recommend Michele, I want to adopt from Washington again just to get to work with her! Our experience was fantastic! She is detailed and responsive, answers her phone or text even late at night. She is well-connected and those relationshipships certainly helped move our adoption thro...ugh the process smoother. She even coached me through a couple of tough times when I needed to bounce my frustrations off someone who could return a voice of reason, and she did just that. Lastly, she truly cares about the work she does and the clients she helps. She has gone beyond the call of duty and provided some in-person attention to our birthmother when we needed help, even after our case was closed. I will gladly talk with anyone that is considering hiring Michele. I'll give you an honest answer to any question you have about our experience. Michele has our number, just ask for Ryan from California.
