I contacted this firm with my husband because we were seriously considering retaining them for legal representation. Before signing the proposed contract, we simply requested a brief meeting with Mr. Reed—either via Zoom or in person—to clarify a few important points. Unfortunately, we weren’t abl...e to speak with Mr. Reed directly and were instead connected with someone named Conely. That conversation was disappointing and unprofessional. Rather than helping facilitate communication or answering our questions respectfully, Conely was dismissive, spoke over us, and ultimately ended the call abruptly after accusing us of being hostile. While the conversation did become tense, it was only because we felt unheard and disregarded. Our intention was never to be confrontational—we just wanted to understand the agreement fully before signing anything. Instead, we were met with defensiveness and a complete lack of courtesy. We were genuinely prepared to hire this firm, but after that experience, we no longer feel confident doing so. I’m sharing this review because I initially found this firm through online reviews, and I believe others deserve to know what to expect when reaching out for legal help. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the professionalism or respect we were hoping for.
