Donald L Scales

Don Scales was my public defender back in 2015. At our very 1st meeting I discovered he hadn't even looked at my case file yet. He asked me repeatedly what I wanted, "what would be your Christmas morning?" But when I told him he laughed at me and said, "that's not gonna happen." Had I known I was sup...posed to do his job for him I would've come in better prepared. Again at our second meeting he knew none of the details of my case, was rude & at our 1st court appearance he fired me. He's not a good attorney, certainly wasn't for me. He never listened to me & failed to even become familiar with my case.

He didn't make any empty promises. He just gave some predictions on what may be likely outcomes and I am very happy with the outcome. He really was very easy to talk to. I felt comfortable being open and honest with him and I am sure that helped. I had several interactions with his legal team and they too were helpful and caring. So thank you.
