Worst for divorce/child custoday and negligent

Paul Allen was always too busy to get in touch with. Did a lot of talking and charged money for it. He did not talk to any possible witnesses I provided. He didn't follow up getting copies of production from the other party at all, which I found out 3 months later after the due date. He didn't reques...t the child support but we spent time and time talking about getting this. He promised but never did. He did not follow up to get the judgement from the hearing and I had to get that going myself with a different attorney two months after hearing. He was not prepared at all for the court hearing. He had the recommendation letter from my child's therapist to do a more graduated parenting plan but he did not bother to even bring it up. If he did, judge might not enforce equal parenting time right away. He did not object to what the other party and his attorney accused me about at the hearing, and he did not call me go up there to have a chance to explain to judge or argue, which I believe should be how it works. Whenever I had something wanted to say at hearing, he told me not to but my ex was able to. He did not write up a good ruling parenting plan at all and did not discuss or participate, or let me discuss or participate at hearing about the parenting plan, which made the judge adopted the other party's proposal 100%. I had no proposal from the other party to review at the court. I had no idea what was going on and Paul Allen just sat there did and said nothing. He told me my son was too young to be the witness. I found out kids older than 8 year old can be witnesses. I discharged him. He requested to withdraw from being my attorney. When I looked for new attorney, they all thought he withdrew because I didn't pay or because he did not want to represent me. No, I discharged him because he failed doing his job and because he is the kind of attorney who tell you what you want to hear and then take the money and walk away. A lot of talk but little action. Say things you want to hear at first and then not responding or getting back to clients after. I believe if Paul Allen had done things differently, work harder, did his job instead of just talk, the results would be different. I paid $13k+ to him. Not only the divorce is not final yet, but everything had gone different directions from what he told me should be. I do not know where that $13k+ go but I do know things were screwed up. When I asked what happened if I run out of money to pay for attorney, he said I have money here and there! I don't feel he has the best interest for his clients, and he performed terribly for me. Not only he screwed up, now I have to worry about my child everyday he is not with me. I am finding more and more work that were supposed to be taken care not being done with new attorney! If this is not his area, he should have said so when I consulted with him and when I asked if he was able to take the case. Paul Allen is negligent. Not advocate for the clients. Anyone who experience difficulty to get him to respond, or you have to ask him to do things, not him being proactive, it is time to consider a different attorney.
