Amazing Person

In 2017 I was charged with 2 felony possession charges which I was innocent of. I was originally assigned a different public defender attorney who would not listen or even try to help me she just kept saying take the plead your guilty. Since my charges was felonies the attorney I was given could not... defend me in a court hearing. Spencer was assigned as my 2nd attorney who could do the court hearings. When I meet him face to face and talked with him I felt a little better. I educated my self with my legal rights and state laws. I got so sick of her telling me I was guilty and to take the plead and she could not answer any of my question I felt I was better off defending my self then having her so I fired her and requested a new attorney. I was then assigned Spencer as my attorney by that time I was charged with another felony charge of failure to appear which was accident. He immediately went to work fighting for me kept me well informed with everything and my options. After meeting and going over everything during are first meeting. I left his office and I started crying I felt for the first time since I had gotten the charges I now have a fighting chance. He listen to everything I said and answer ever question honestly good or bad. When we went to court finally I was just blown away with how Spencer stood up and fought for me specially being a public defender Spencer kept me informed through the whole court hearing. Because of Spencer I was found not guilty on both of the felony possession charges and the felony failure to appear he had thrown out. If I had the original attorney I no for a fact I would have 3 felony charges on my record and my life would of been ruined for ever. I will always be grateful to Spencer Todd not only did he get a not guilty verdict on the charges He saved my life. Spencer already has built a good solid reputation as attorney he is going to be the best attorney in Salem that everybody wants for attorney. If you want a fighter the Spencer is the person.

Clueless and unconcerned

Spencer failed to help me. At first he seemed like he knew what he was doing; he came off as someone who knew what they were doing. I bought into that confidence. I told him my case and how I had been falsely acussed and how these people would not stop there to hurt me. He seemed unfazed and unconcer...ned of my situation. I was dealing with abuse charges. He took over 3 months to get me a evaluation or poly scheduled. I was eager to prove my innocence. All he did was constantly say we needed to do what prosecutor demanded. He changed the judge we originally had which was a awesome judge. He changed judges not once but 3 times without my consent at all. I then show up to a routine monthly status conference and he begins to falsely acusse me saying I had missed court or said I had not kept up with appointments which I had. I get arrested based off a secret indictment and they again didn't let me take a poly before arresting me. I go off at him at court and tell him I've already wasted a lot of money on bail alone and hes done nothing to help me. Pretty sure he didn't even know the status on my case. When I get arrested for no good reason he promises to call my family and notify them on what happened, the least he could of done and he didn't. He then tells the judge he wants to step down from case, not only that but he gives the prosecutor all our defense and evaluation reports and therapist names so the prosecutor could subpoena him. Talk about throwing me under the bus and giving up. If you want a attorney who gets on their knees and obeys everything prosecutor demands as a way of winning a case then Spencer Todd is the attorney for you. Pit Bull??? haha Maybe when it comes to dealing with parking tickets but not a felony.

Accidental & Serious Mistake

It was late in the game when we met Spencer Todd. My son had a serious crime to defend. Spencer did an excellent job gathering information, speaking to the DA, and keeping us in the loop of information. My son and I believe that without Spencer's professionalism, my son may have had a much harsher... outcome. I would personally recommend Spencer Todd.to anyone in need of a Pit Bull to represent you.

Highly Recommend; Very Sincere

Spencer represented me in a criminal case recently and I wanted to post concerning my positive experience working with him. From the beginning Spencer was always punctual and professional. He deserves special commendation for being available at almost anytime. He was always very quick to respond t...o my questions and kept me well informed of what he and the courts were doing involving my case. I would highly recommend Spencer to anyone because he handled my situation with encouraging diligence and care; Spencer also treated me sincere respect regardless of my circumstance.
