I have been with 5 lawyers since my divorce in 2000, before this time I have never seen a lawyer in my life. 1st lawyer I think was working for my ex. 2nd lawyer - I was audited by the IRS because the 1st lawyer had omitted to put a paragraph in the divorce papers. 2nd lawyer said 'easy fix', but a...fter waiting for nearly a year and nothing happening, I fired that one. 3rd lawyer hired to take over and after a lot of $$ and time the issue was corrected.
