I hired Mr. Sweeney regarding a first time DUI offense. Before initial contact I was overwhelmed at how I was going to effectively deal with the situation. After my first consult, I felt properly educated on what my options were and how to go forward in the most efficient manor. Given my prior cons...ults with several other lawyers, I felt confident in hiring Matt for his knowledge of the local landscape and extensive track record. The outcome was better than I thought it would be and I never felt pressured through the entire process.

Very nice guy. Easy to deal with. He was very gung-ho about my case and then as it proceeded, just fizzled out. When it came down to it, he wanted to take the easy way out to ensure that he got some money and did not want to chance losing and coming out with nothing. I felt that he did not repre...sent me in the best way possible and he had me settle before we even got started, after he said he was confident that he could win this case if he got it in front of a jury. He then, didn't even try to get it in front of a jury. It was a very disappointing ending and I wished I had switched lawyers when I saw his interest level go to nothing on my case. It was a night and day difference from when he started the case to when he ended it. I am not at all happy with the outcome. He did not fight for me at all. I just don't think he has enough experience or the pit bull personality needed to go up against big corporations to fight for employees rights.
