I am an active member of the Oregon State Bar Association, the Multnomah Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and a Guardian member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. I am also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and have tried several cases to succesful verdict in both state and federal court. I support several local organizations and charities including the Oregon Humane Society, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Dress for Success Oregon and am currently a PTA co-president at my children's elementary school where we focus on fostering a sense of community belonging. Along with my husband and two young children, I enjoy camping and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest as well as spending time relaxing by gardening in the yard at home or getting creative in the kitchen. Most recently I have found joy in helping coach my son's little league baseball team and love watching both kids play sports. Prior to joining Pickett Dummigan Weingart LLP, I worked as a judicial clerk successively to two judges in Multnomah County, the Honorable Ronald E. Cinniger and the Honorable Stephen K. Bushong, during which experiences I learned a great deal about the art of trial practice and effective case presentation before a jury. I am delighted to work with the great attorneys at Pickett Dummigan Weingart LLP where we actively pursue justice for injured people and their families. I feel passionate about fighting for my clients and am persistent in finding the way to the best possible outcome in a difficult situation.

Thoughtful, Knowledgeable & Respectful
I hired Kim to represent me in a personal injury case. I was rear-ended and suffered many months of impairment due to the accident. I was hoping for a fair, drama-free resolution. Despite the challenges during COVID, Kim was responsive and an excellent communicator. I really appreciated her calm, car...

Highly Recommend Kim
I was riding a 400K bicycle qualifier for Paris Brest Paris when I was hit head on by a reckless driver. I was fortunate to survive without life threatening injuries, but still spent 4 days in the hospital. I soon found myself dealing with three insurance companies and dozens of health care providers...
"I have known Kim since we were both clerking at the Multnomah County Courthouse a decade ago. She is intelligent and kind, and her deep familiarity with courtroom procedure dramatically enhances her legal practice. I have nothing but good things to say about Kim and endorse her without reservation."
"You will not find a more competitive, hard-working lawyer than Ms. Weingart. She doesn't know the word "fear," and she doesn't back down from a fight. She's the type of lawyer I'd want on my side. I'm happy to endorse her."
"Kim is a meticulous attorney that does everything to make sure her clients get treated fairly. Kim will spend hours after work and on the weekends pouring over the details of her cases to make sure her clients have every advantage possible. She is as diligent as she is kind, and treats everyone respectfully. Clients going through tough situations can always depend on Kim to get the job done and preserve their dignity."
