also known as Kady Bourn
I have made helping people through difficult circumstances my life's work. I have over 20 years experience helping families wrap up a loved ones final affairs, whether through probate, trust administration, a small estate, or accessing transfer-on-death assets.
My awareness of complicated family situations helps me assist people in creating workable estate plans and in navigating the probate process.
I began my legal career prosecuting domestic assaults in the Clatsop County District Attorney's Office. Using my litigation experience, I opened and ran my own family law and bankruptcy practice in Astoria for 11 years.
In 2010, I helped found a nonprofit organization that provides volunteer advocates for foster children. I served as the first executive director for Columbia County's Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program until 2013.
From 2013 to present, I have practiced law in the Portland metropolitan area, handling a variety of matters. Ultimately, I narrowed my focus on probate, guardianships and conservatorships, trust administration, and estate planning.

Ruined my mom's life and billed over $100k
Her actions were so egregious that the Oregon DA's office stated "she could go to jail for what she did to your family." Out of fear for retaliation by this predator, we're afraid to say more about her bad faith and alleged fraudulent actions.

Steller Service
I worked with Kathryn Bourn and Stephanie Evans on my Chapter 13 bankruptcy. They were both great to work with. They made stress free and seamless during the entire process. I highly recommend Kathryn.

Kathryn knows what she's doing and she's doing it for you.
Kathryn not only helped me "come out whole" from a divorce, but in the process also referred me to people who are helping me make my own way in the future and who all are as professional and nice as she is! I'm glad I found her and you will be too. And by the way, everyone I have met at Gresham Fam...
