Biography
Family law chose me as much as I chose it.
I grew up in Portland, went to the University of Oregon, and earned my law degree from Willamette. But it wasn't until I started representing fathers — men navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives — that I found the work that really matters to me.
There's no area of law more personal than family law. These aren't business disputes or abstract legal questions. These are people's children, their homes, their futures. I take that seriously.
At Goldberg Jones, I focus on divorce, child custody, and fathers' rights for men in the Portland metro area. I've handled everything from high-asset dissolution cases to contentious custody battles to protection order proceedings. My goal in every case is the same: help my client get through this with their relationship with their kids — and their dignity — intact.
