Phillip Donnelly Jones

In an incredibly complex, horrific divorce, I was having issues finding a lawyer who had time to take my case. Contacted Phillip and he seemed confident, knowledgeable, and absolutely certain he could help me out of the rut other lawyers got me into previously. Hired him to appeal a hearing that went... wrong, breathed a sigh of relief, paid his $7,500 retainer, sent him everything on the case so far, then waited. and waited... and waited... he sent a round of ridiculously harassing interrogatories from the other party with no guidance, I could NOT get ahold of this guy to save my life, quite literally. Finally, TWO DAYS before the appeal hearing, he "squeezes in" a phone call. Eager to hear his strategy, I asked. It was obvious he hadn't done a single thing to prepare for the hearing. He had forgotten most details and major points of my case, and absolutely refused to explain any sort of strategy to me. He kept saying, "I don't know what to tell you..." then got defensive and told me he "doesn't have to put up with this" and threatened to hang up. With no time and no choice but to hold my breath and put my faith in him, I watched the hearing in horror as the opposing counsel immediately pointed out that HE FILED LATE for the appeal and it was done INCORRECTLY, therefore, it was null and void. I was ordered to continue to pay almost my entire income to my ex. The best part - since "my side" filed the incorrect appeal, I was ordered to pay the opposing counsels extravagant legal fees as well as Phillips. During the most stressful, awful times of my life, Phillip kicked me when I was down. Do not trust this person with your life like I did. You will regret it.

Phillip Jones were wonderful from the first moment we met. Loved how much compassion he had. Phillip was easy to talk to, knew how to encourage a middle age woman. He was always promp with responses. I very much appreciated his knowledge. I knew that phillip would fight for everything I wanted/neede...d with intelligent reasonings and professionalism. I felt safe doing this process because Phillip Jones represented me.

I am very appreciative of everything Phil has done during my divorce. He is very upfront and realistic, kept me in the loop during the entire process. There were times when he was very busy, and I wasn't being patient, however I always felt he was doing the right thing, even if we didn't communicate ...for a while. Would recommend to others!
