I consulted with about six lawyers prior to selecting Arusi. He stood out because the others asked me upfront about my finances and/or were intent on selling their services to me. I had such a freakish accident at work and was very badly injured I was carried to the e.r. and told yeah nothings broken, yet I couldn't walk for 3 or 4 days ..my son carried me to bathroom and bed, afterwards I went back to work dragging my leg and limping. my husband encouraged me to call a t.v. l...awyer, after explaining what happened,I felt like I was given the run around call this number, it isn't a clear case, these people will call you back etc. I gave up. weeks later my daughter visited and saw my injuries and how I was walking and encouraged me to call arusi, a relative of a friend. Months later, I finally did, he listened to me, let me know the timelines, which were approaching quickly. I just brushed any type of recourse off, I knew this was such an unusual situation. The end result was, I won my case. I also found out, through the I.M.E, that I sustained a major injury, that no doctor I have seen in 3years had acknowledged, that was really more rewarding than any financial award. Arusi researched my accident and believed what I was explaining to him. I am most grateful to that because that is how I finally understood what exactly was the condition of my leg.

I did a consult with Arusi in June/2020 over the phone. I live in Texas and we discussed my case. ie: how he would handle it, etc . Within a couple of days, I hired him. I had an upcoming court date in 8/3rd regarding parenting time and me getting custody of my daughter. His retainer fee was $4k tha...t I’d had to replenish monthly. I didn’t get any contacts from him until I’d called 2 weeks before the court date to find out what was happening. I was told due to the pandemic, most likely my case wouldn’t be heard. Then, he sent all of the questions he wanted me to answer and get back to him soon. The day of court, I wasn’t given any information on how to call in or anything. I get a call from his paralegal saying he would be calling me and then found within an hour, the judge wanted to hear our case. I wasn’t prepared neither was Arusi. I was so mad and nervous. During court, he asked me a question he got from my ex which had nothing to do with anything. Now, I’m feeling betrayed and trying to see if he was representing me or him. The paperwork wasn’t filed until the day of court and he didn’t do what we had discussed. So, my case is still in the courts. I’m still replenishing my retainer and it’s October. I’m emailing and calling to get updates and trying to find out why nothing had be done . By this time I was exhausted and growing worry that I hired the wrong attorney. I didn’t have any extra money to hire another one so I was trying to stay with him. After asking for my file and detailed explanations of my invoices, I started seeking for another attorney. I finally found another attorney and found out that I had a court date in 2 days that didn’t know about. I wasn’t contacted by Arusi or the Perkins Law Firm. I fired him and hired Attorney Jessica Molligan , she was a God sent and represented my in court in October. I’ve asked Perkins Law Firm for my money back and so far they haven’t reimbursed.
