Unprofessional with No Communication

When I first approached Rachel about representing me she was very eager and excited about my case. I hired her in June and she said we would file by the end of Summer. As soon as I signed my contract and gave her a check for fees her communication began to rapidly decline. I constantly had to reach o...ut for updates and every time was given a new personal excuse as to why we had not filed yet. After 6 months of going back and forth with no progress made she threw together my case within days after I mentioned finding new legal representation. The final straw was when she decided to tell me after half a year of leading me to believe my case was worth a specific amount that she wanted to file for 1/10th of the original value she told me. I finally had to part ways with her as my lawyer and now find myself starting all over. Please avoid wasting precious time and energy and find someone better able to handle your case.

Personal injury case review

Rachel was an excellent lawyer throughout the time of the case. She always kept me updated with each part of the process. Rachel also ensured that all of my injuries were covered, and compensated for. I would definitely recommend her for a personal injury case! 10 stars!!

Dedicated and hard working

I give Rachel definelty 5 stars and up. She was dedicated to me an my case for over 4 years. She worked day and night and never lost sight or gave up on me or my case. Very professional and willing to take any time of day, day or night to respond to emails and questions and give me updates on where w...e were at. There was a lot of things I didn't understand along the way and she always took the time to explain things in laments terms until I was able to comprehend. She did an endless amount of research and was extremely dedicated to me and my case until the very end. I can't tell or express to you how much time this woman spent on building my case and I have never seen someone so dedicated and motivated to help achieve what I felt I deserved. If you are looking for a lawyer, Rachel is your woman!!!

Frustrating Landlord....Resolved Expeditiously!

A frustrating incident occurred with our previous landlord. All had been well with the property for the three years we had resided, however, when we requested our security deposit be returned, a form of “bully” and belligerence transpired that we were not prepared for. Bogus charge-backs, made up ...deficiencies and “additional” cleaning expenses were tallied, reducing our return deposit by 75%! Our friends referred us to Rachel O'Neal, a Portland, OR attorney. We met with Rachel and was instantly put at ease with her professional manner. Ms. O'Neal listened with intent, taking notes and asked thorough questions to ascertain the legitimacy our claim. After our brief interaction, she had a strategy determined, one that was founded in law, more important, one Ms. O'Neal knew would get the desired outcome. True to the plan the process did go, resulting in an expeditious, return of our security deposit in full from the landlord. Ms. O'Neal excels, because she takes pride in her knowledge of the law and how she uses it to help her clients. I am grateful for her help.

Hard working and knowledgable

Rachel represented my daughter in an automobile accident. She was very informative and made my daughter feel very safe during the horrible ordeal. The whole process is very scary for a teenager and she helped explain everything and represented my child amazingly. She found other information that wa...s missed by others and other very knowledgable people to work with to help with the case during this time. We would highly recommend her!!
