all she did was be rude to me in response and has done nothing to help to this day. I believe she has behaved unprofessional and incompetent. Has not kept constant contact thru out this case , made me enter into a plea two weeks ago but for some unexplained reason did not bring up that fact in the "r...elease " hearing she scheduled two weeks ago, gave the judge erronious information and said nothing about the already signed PLEA from 2 weeks ago. Her defense is incompetent and i was denied release while suffering PTSD and depression in the segregation unit where i would be spending 70 more days out of the 90 days given by the jail leutenant. I would like to get a new attorney but dont know how as i am very bad at advocating for myself, hence the release of info he signed to a next of kin, but it was not honored by court appointed attorney Elvia Aguilar who specializes in personal injury cases. Which is why she is quick to maje her clients facing criminal charges sign a plea instead of investigating if the charge is actually true , damaging the outcome which could have proven someone's innocense. DO NOT HIRE AND SAY NO TO THIS ATTORNEY IF SHE IS APPOINTED BY THE COURT! she is mess and RUDE! And gets it all twisted when speaking to 3rd parties who are involved in the family members case. She will RUIN your case! Keep her away from you at all costs!

She's great if your case is easy, or if you're actually guilty, or if you want to sign a plea deal. Elvia got insanely rude with me once she realized I was not going to sign a plea deal because I didn't see it fit for the crime, so she requested a trial. During that time, I took it upon myself to req...uest a different attorney and the judge granted it - which hardly ever happens, shows you how horrible she is. Long story short, my new attorney got my case dismissed. Please, don't go to her.

Elvia is a great lawyer. did what she said and said what she did. she got right in there and got the job done. not only kept me out of jail but reduced my criminal ticket to a driving violation, at half the cost of the original ticket. she is great at what she does. if you need a good lawyer o...ne who will stand up for you and defend you- you want Elvia on your case and and on your side.
