The best attorney in Chico

Eric Berg has represented me for several years for my child custody litigation. He is an exceptional attorney who truly possesses a genius legal mind. Watching him execute various legal actions over the years is like watching a composer at the New York Symphony. He turned around 3 years of legal abus...e from my ex-wife in the space of 48 hours. I wouldn't have any custody of my children without this man and I am truly thankful from the bottom of my heart for everything that he has done for me. You will not find a better legal team in California.

It was a terrible shock to be ripped from my classroom, arrested for (false) charges of molestation, suffer 14.5 months of (false)imprisonment, watch the total meltdown of my life, my 23 year career as a teacher, facing multiple felony counts. Faced with Trinity County's corrupt Asst. DA AND a worth...less Redding lawyer who stole $10k from my family, then tried to force me to take a 13-year prison 'deal'; Trinity County Sheriff's Office complicity; lies, hysteria and hyperbole from several former students and their dysfunctional parents- these elements seemed to doom my chances. But Eric Berg and his team, including investigator Ed Szendrey, believed in me, worked tirelessly to exonerate me, along with help and faith from friends and family, and finally the last shreds of this empty case were dismissed by the judge on May 6, 2019. As a former Nat'l Park Ranger, EMT, and teacher, I know about saving lives... Eric Berg truly saved my life, and that is NOT hyperbole.

Very experienced Attorney-Highly Satisfied

Eric was very focused from the very beginning on being proactive in handling my criminal defense case. The process was new and very confusing to me but Eric worked through the case and we prevailed in the end with all charges against me being dismissed. Friendly and personable Eric, was a great choic...e for a criminal defense attorney. I would highly recommend him!

Would recommend

After finding myself in an unfortunate situation I was referred to Ryan in Mr. Berg's office. He listened to my story and was able to ask questions that brought up facts that were useful in my case. Him and the office staff provided knowledge to help me understand the process to which I had little to... no understanding. By good fortune I was able to settle before a trial. Aside from one minor, and corrected, accounting error everything went smoothly. Thank you, would recommend.

Quick and Reliable

In Nov 2016 I was visiting Shasta county, I am from the east coast USA. I found myself in need of a legal support.
