I was referred to Joanne by legal shield back in December of 2020 . . I hired Joanne for a move away trial case . She is the best of the best . Very determine , driven , and knowledgeable . I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney . I was a little nervous being the fact that my court hearing was s...o close , with so much work to be done , however , our very first zoom meeting not only gave me a sense of relief , but Joanne always answered all text , phone calls and emails with every and any question I had . Joanne always made me feel like my case was top Priority , the amount of time and effort she spent on my case was outstanding . Not only was I granted full custody of my child , I am now able to move my child out of state. thanks to all her hard work and determination. I can’t thank her and the team enough . All I can say is she’s the best of the best and thanks to her I can finally put my child in a better situation .

Joanne was my lawyer for a long and complicated DVRO case. She was very thorough and attentive to details. No one wants to go to trial or be caught up in any type of legal issues, especially something as emotional and stressful as this, but Joanne and her team made the experience as easy for me as po...ssible. I was awarded the judgement I hoped for and I can rest much easier knowing my kids and I are safe because I hired her.

She should be disbarred for what happened in my case. Showed up late and/or unprepared on multiple settings, misplaced evidence, and lost her train of thought and her composure while speaking to the court. Was unable to tie sentences or words together and was unable to properly cross examine a witn...ess. The judge and everyone in the court were so confused by her flustered and erratic behavior that multiple recesses needed to be taken. After speaking with several witnesses to the case who were there in the courtroom, they had never seen this kind of a performance by a non self-represented litigant in the el dorado county superior court. Opposing counsel was laughing- literally. Thankfully I was able to resolve this family law case using the help of another attorney, but it was an uphill climb due to the sheer incompetence and mess left by Joanne Biernacki. Due to a breach of agreement, I’m now filing a bar complaint against this individual. Please understand that these review sites can be manipulated....
