My parents and I had a wonderful experience working with Ed and his staff. My parents wanted to create a living trust and I wanted to find someone in the Sacramento area that spoke their native language (Cantonese and Taishanese). English is their 2nd language and it would be hard for them to fully c...omprehend some of those legal questions. I wanted them to feel comfortable in speaking and asking questions without a need for a translator. I’m very happy I was able to come across Ed’s business and after talking directly to him I felt he would be able to communicate just fine with my parents and we set up an initial meeting for my parents to see if they would like to work with him. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for, and I felt very comfortable with spending a few extra dollars now to ensure my family’s financial future. Ed took the time to ensure I had all the facts, including what is and is not included in an Estate Plan. Ed also provided insight as to what financial vehicles may be included, but perhaps should not be, given potential tax implications that I should discuss with my CPA. This comprehensive approach allowed me to determine what mechanism best met my needs. Throughout the entire process, Ed and his Case Manager, Laurie, made themselves available in person, by phone or via email. Ultimately, I felt secure and confident that my family’s best interests and needs would be met when that time arises.
