About Alan
Biography
Alan received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated Order of the Coif (top 10% of the class) with Great Distinction. He also received a Certificate in Oral Advocacy and was nominated to the Order of the Barristers for excellence in trial skills and oral advocacy. Alan now serves as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at McGeorge School of Law.
Alan knows both sides of criminal law, as he previously worked for the Sacramento County District Attorney's office before leaving to pursue a career in criminal defense. Alan opened his own criminal defense practice in 2010 and has been successfully defending clients in all aspects of complex criminal litigation.
Alan also currently sits on the legal committees for Americans for Safe Access (ASA) and the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) and provides competent legal representation in all aspects of medical marijuana laws.
