I do not recommend this firm

My experience with this firm as a long-term, well-paying client was extremely regrettable. They have a lot of good reviews for their estate planning department which is deceiving if one needs help with a litigation case. They claim to be specialists but ultimately I had no choice but to seek new ...counsel because they had such little knowledge and experience that it was costing thousands of dollars to clean up their mistakes. Daniel Hunt could not be bothered to supervise his subordinate lawyers despite me expressing my consensus about dishonesty and lack of legal knowledge and experience with the brand new attorneys he let run my case in to the ground. Sadly, after a year and a half and $40,000 spent here I face no choice but to new adequate representation for lack of trust this firm could adequately represent me in any fashion. I do not recommend this firm to any one else. There are many qualified law offices in this segment of the legal profession. I did not find this firm to be one of them.

Hi Shannon, We are never happy to have clients leave unhappy, but always say that if trust is lost by either party, it's best to part ways. When clients get advised by others that have conflicting interests, situations such as these are inevitable. We are very careful in our cost/benefit analysis in what should be done in a case to achieve the best possible result for the cost paid. We wish you the very best with your new firm and hope their approach and cost/benefit analysis proves successful.

The legal assistant did the work

I had a nice half hour conversation with Craig Harris. Well dressed and a magnificent office. He got me started thinking about my trust but I never had contact with him again to follow up. On the day of signing I insisted and saw him just long enough for him to assure me that the legal assistant wa...s an expert. She talked me through the signing and answered some of my questions. Paying $2000, Craig Harris demeanor, and the elegant office suggested I was in good hands, even though I suspect the trust documents came from a standard computer macro. I’m not unhappy, even though I might have had more contact with an attorney in a different setting. My guess establishing a trust is simply an unavoidable cost of death.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're happy to hear you enjoyed visiting our office and working with Craig. We assure you that you are indeed in good hands! Our drafting process includes an attorney/paralegal collaboration, overseen by the attorney, which allows us to keep our prices extremely competitive. For comparison, some of our competitors charge $3,000-5,000 or more for the same documents. If there is anything we could have improved about your experience, please contact our office. We welcome your feedback!

Revocable Trust

My wife have the ARAG program thru the State of Calilfornia which we use to select the Law Offices of Daniel Hunt for our Revocable Trust. We are very satisfied with work they did for us. Craig and Andrew were very positive and helpful. Everything was explained thoroughly and all questions and con...cerns were addressed. I feel confidant that any questions or concerns in the future will be taken care of. I highly recommend The Law Offices of Daniel Hunt.

A Positive Experience

I recently had the second revision of my trust and the other pertinent documents done. Mr. Hunt was very professional, addressing all my concerns and clarifying the questions which I had. Prior to my appointment, I was sent a packet to fill out and it was an excellent guide which helped me to focus ...on the financial and other details which had to be taken into consideration. He did an excellent job of clarifying the law in a way which reassured me that the decisions made were appropriate. When I returned for the signing of the documents, his paralegal, Mr. Sanchez, was very thorough in explaining everything that I was signing and gave me all the time I needed to review the material. A few minor changes were made then and there. This was all done in a relaxed, warm environment. I received a followup call to see if I had any further questions or concerns. I feel very confident that Mr. Hunt will guide and assist my family in a kind and supportive manner in the event that such services are ever required.

Very Happy

I went to a couple of seminars, (not Mr Hunts), and I interviewed 4 lawyers for work on my Living Trust. I chose Mr Hunt for many reasons. You may have a criteria of your own. I will say, that when speaking to Mr. Hunt, the information was straight forward, and done without any sales pressure. He... answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He is local, and his offices are lovely and welcoming. Not too small. Not too large. But then, I met his staff. And I found them to be welcoming, knowledgeable, patient, and meticulous. I have recommended him to my daughter and my daughter's friend. I am completely satisfied with the work, and confident that they will be just as accommodating when I am gone, and my daughter needs help with handling the Trust.

"I have worked with Daniel for nearly 5 years now. He has an expert knowledge of the probate code. Since most litigators do so generally or in civil court, this expert knowledge sets him above many of his peers. Daniel has a knack for finding ways to get a client what they are after without giving away what they already have. Daniel is conscient of his client's needs and pursues those needs in the most cost effective way possible."
