A graduate of McGeorge School of Law, Daniel A. Hunt is lead attorney and owner of the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hunt. He is a State Bar of California Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law. Mr. Hunt serves as Director of our firm’s Litigation Department. With a decade of experience as a trust & estate litigator, he leads beneficiaries and trustees through each step of the litigation process. From mediation to litigated court trials, he works to help his clients successfully resolve complex legal conflicts in the quickest and most cost-efficient way possible.

Mr. Hunt is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Sacramento Estate Planning Council. He has served as President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Probate and Estates section of the Sacramento County Bar Association. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento County Bar Association. He also serves as court-appointed counsel for the Sacramento County Probate Court.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, golfing, skiing, hiking, and traveling.

Exceptional firm!

I am a current client and this firm is the best of the best in Sacramento. They are currently helping to protect my grandmother who has been victimized by a live-in caregiver, who changed the locks on her house, and manipulated her to sign legal documents. Daniel's paralegal Miranda is exceptionally talented, bright, professional and friendly. I highly endorse using their office for any estate planning or probate need.

Does not waste your time. Has incredible patience as well as thorough knowledge as he guided my husband and I in navigating the Trust world. Mr. Hunt made it easy for us to put our list in order and made suggestions as to areas that needed a solution.

Revocable Trust

My wife have the ARAG program thru the State of Calilfornia which we use to select the Law Offices of Daniel Hunt for our Revocable Trust. We are very satisfied with work they did for us. Excellent services

Excellent experience. I am very happy I did business with Daniel Hunt's law firm. I hired Mr. Hunt for Estate Planning. I have put the process off for years, but with Mr. Hunt's firm and help it made things very easy to complete the process. I feel relieved that I have my Living Trust completed.

Estate Planning

I recently had my first experience with Daniel Hunt’s office. I had my estate documents updated as my prior lawyer had retired. The entire staff was very helpful. All the documents were thoroughly explained to me and questions answered.

Staff is very friendly

Every encounter I had with multiple people from the staff was amazing. Everyone was quick to answer and questions I had and took the time to explain everything in detail. The singing process was seamless and the gentlemen that helped me even took a photo with me! All around, great team to work with and highly recommend.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with the Law Office of Daniel Hunt.

A Positive Experience

I recently had the second revision of my trust and the other pertinent documents done. Mr. Hunt was very professional, addressing all my concerns and clarifying the questions which I had. Prior to my appointment, I was sent a packet to fill out and it was an excellent guide which helped me to focus on the financial and other details which had to be taken into consideration. He did an excellent job of clarifying the law in a way which reassured me that the decisions made were appropriate. When I returned for the signing of the documents, his paralegal, Mr. Sanchez, was very thorough in explaining everything that I was signing and gave me all the time I needed to review the material. A few minor changes were made then and there. This was all done in a relaxed, warm environment. I received a followup call to see if I had any further questions or concerns. I feel very confident that Mr. Hunt will guide and assist my family in a kind and supportive manner in the event that such services are ever required.

Very Happy

I went to a couple of seminars, (not Mr Hunts), and I interviewed 4 lawyers for work on my Living Trust. I chose Mr Hunt for many reasons. You may have a criteria of your own. I will say, that when speaking to Mr. Hunt, the information was straight forward, and done without any sales pressure. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He is local, and his offices are lovely and welcoming. Not too small. Not too large. But then, I met his staff. And I found them to be welcoming, knowledgeable, patient, and meticulous. I have recommended him to my daughter and my daughter's friend. I am completely satisfied with the work, and confident that they will be just as accommodating when I am gone, and my daughter needs help with handling the Trust.
