About Michael
Biography
Born in Michigan, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors's in Science. Next, I graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School earning my Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, followed by an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami.
In 1982, I was admitted to the California State Bar and established my estate planning practice shortly thereafter. In 2019, I joined the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hunt as an Of Counsel attorney. I continue to meet with clients and offer counsel based on over 35 years of experience in the Estate Planning field.
I'm a member of the American Bar Association; State Bar of California; and State Bar of Michigan. I'm also proud to have received an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell® for my professionalism and ethics.
I serve as the Board Chair & President of Future Foundation of Sacramento, a nonprofit whose mission is to encourage and fund local youth in reaching their goals in higher education. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two Bichon Frise dogs. I'm an ardent reader, avid golfer, history buff, and art enthusiast.
