Having had a rough experience doing the application ourselves (only for it to be denied), we were glad of the help and meticulous guidance he provided us. We were told exactly what to send and how to fill in the forms in detail with nothing being left to chance and given time lines to work with so that we had an idea of how long each stage would take from the forms and them reaching the centre to the processing times and rough estimates around the interview stage also.
We cant recommend Matthew Udall's services enough and are really grateful for everything he has done for us.

I hired Matthew to obtain a fiancée visa. From day one, Matthew provided the assistant and help required to achieve this visa. He made sure I was informed 100% through out the process. Through Matthew experience, we were granted the visa.

Immigration can be overwhelming for most couples since it involves two different countries, time, distance and unavoidable legalities. The Legal part is absolutely necessary and therefore unavoidable. That said, the only other element within one’s control is how one manages the ‘overwhelming’ part.
Fortunately, choosing Matthew as our Immigration attorney was one of the best decisions Andy - my now Husband and author of the recommendation ‘A Lawyer you’ll swear by. Not at’ (posted on this website, dated October 25, 2015) - and I have ever made. In doing so we completely got rid of the ‘overwhelming’ part!
Our K-1 Finace Visa (the first step in the immigration process that allowed me to travel to the United States with the intention of marrying Andy) was approved and issued in 5 months. Thanks to Matthew, this was smooth and hassle free. (At this point, reading Andy’s comments may help you understand the process and the pivotal role Matthew played)
The Immigration process however does not end with the K-1 Visa. Once I entered the U.S and we got married, we continued to work with Matthew, this time, to apply for an ‘Adjustment of Status’. Despite both of us now being in the same country and this phase of Immigration being less complicated than the K-1 Visa phase, Matthew’s attention to us as clients and detail to his work continued to be professional. This is truly noteworthy and we will always appreciate the personal touch in the way Matthew managed our case from his articulate emails, preparatory phone calls, timely execution/ filing of important paperwork to updates and much more that ensured we were always one step ahead of the game. After we got married and I applied for an Adjustment of status , it took about 3 months for my EAD work card and (conditional) Permanent Resident Status to come through. The officer at the Spousal interview (the final stage just before approval) complimented us on how thorough our paperwork had been filed and that right there is the result of working with a good attorney for immigration!! Did I mention, at no point did we ever feel overwhelmed, confused or intimidated by what would normally, understandable be a very overwhelming situation. All thanks to Matthew.
That said, while Matthew will do more than his fair share to ensure success rates in all his cases, it is equally important for the client to make sure they do their part (furnish information timely and accurately, complete tasks and processes needed of them etc) for the equation to work well.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Matthew. He is one heck of an attorney who is passionate about his work, ensuring his clients will swear by and not at him!!

We hired Mr. Udall to help us out with the K1 process. Although we had hurdles to overcome in our own lives, Mathew was always on top of where we were, and what we needed to do next. His correspondences vie e-mail were always very timely. His e-mail that listed documentation requirements was not always the fun part to gather, but it did put us in a much appreciated position, of feeling well prepared for the interview process. Leaving the interview process, we felt that we were over prepared. This was not a bad thing to happen when your nervous. He knows what Immigration Officers are looking for, and paved a very smooth path for us. I would recommend Mr. Udall in a heartbeat.

That’s exactly how my fiancé and I would describe Mr. Udall in a sentence!
Filing a K-1 Fiance Visa was something we did not want to take a risk with and hence retaining a lawyer of the highest caliber was of the utmost importance.
Matthew Udall, in managing our case throughout, has always been client focused and result driven. He is professional in his instructions and clear & concise in his advice. Despite having other clients and communicating with us across continents with different time zones, Matthew was always available when we needed him to clarify queries and next steps. We are grateful for his personal attention to our case .
Matthew is clearly passionate about his career and it shows in the way he respects the law to the letter, but also in the way he enjoys challenging situations and driving outcomes. What makes him uniquely different and therefore better, is his creative approach in combining a) knowledge of the law , b) experiences in past cases, and c) new techniques he discovers on the job, and applying these to current cases. He is therefore continuously improving his delivery timelines and performance because he is always in ‘learning mode’.
Filing the K-1 Visa is no easy task that happens overnight , but working with Matthew gave us the confidence to proceed. From introductory emails explaining the process, to preliminary collection of information to the actual filing of the case and the case moving from desk to desk across 2 countries, our K-1 Visa was approved and issued in 5 months.
The process was smoother and quicker than expected and Matthew played a pivitol role through his proactive engagement, personal follow-ups & adherence to timelines. Matthew’s delivery and services well exceeded our expectations. The cost was fair and modest considering the amazing value Matthews services provided to us (Saving us both time and headaches all through the process).
We would like to stress here that a client’s cooperation is also important in the success of the case, determining how fast or slow it may move. Matthew may do his best , bringing all he has to the table, but the client(s) must also be on the same page and put in equal if not more effort in driving results.
In the end what made all the difference in getting our job done, was a great working relationship with Matthew. Obtaining this Visa was a process we actually enjoyed and would highly recommend that if it’s results you are looking for, Matthew Udall is unflinchingly, unapologetically your guy!!

We hired Mr. Udall to apply for naturalization for my family. For the first time, I found a lawyer who was more concerned than we were about making sure we submitted our applications correctly and on time! He provided thorough and constant guidance, as well as regular reminders. All of Mr. Udall's emails and mail correspondence were extremely informative, courteous, and professional. I recommend Mr. Udall to anyone needing help with any kind of immigration processes--you can rest assured knowing that Mr. Udall is taking care of it. He went above and beyond our expectations as an attorney, helping us walk through the entire process very smoothly.

My fiancé and I had encountered some difficulties with a previous attorney before we began working with Mr Udall, and so approached our search for another with some trepidation. The procedure of applying for a K1 visa is daunting enough to begin with, and seeking the aid of an attorney just made the process that bit more ‘foreign’ to us. However, any concerns we may have had were quickly put to rest. Right from our initial email exchanges it was clear to us that Mr Udall was both very knowledgeable and personable, and took the time to really understand our case. Our own circumstances are a little unusual 9although I expect that is true for everyone!), as we had to balance the K1 visa application with my own postgraduate studies in Scotland, and with fieldwork in remote areas of Russia. Timing was crucial for us, and Mr Udall did all that he could to help us compile our documents and forms as rapidly as possible, and writing to inform us of new updates or changes in procedure as soon as he was aware of them. Thankfully, our paperwork came through in time, and I received my visa during one of my brief visits to my home country (the UK). I am absolutely certain that this would not have been possible without Mr Udall’s help, and so can’t thank him or recommend him enough. We will also be continuing to work with him after our wedding as we begin the next step of applying for adjustment of status.

Matthew Udall helped tremendously when I filed a K-1 fiance visa to get my wife to the US. He was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what I would need to help the process move along efficiently and quickly. He would return calls with in a day and did not mind talking about the case extensively. He talks to you like a human being, explaining certain forms or processes in a matter of fact way that is easy to follow. It is easy to have a conversation with Matthew. He laid out all the charges that would follow including the charges that the government would ask for as well. I really got the sense from working with him that he does many of these cases.
I would suggest that anyone looking for a good immigration lawyer at least get in contact with Matthew and see for their self. He doesn't act like your wasting his time and he won't charge you a consultation charge either. Even if you end up not using his services I'm sure if you speak with him you will learn something that will help your case.

Mr Udall has taken care of my immigration process and helped my mother with some difficulties we ran into with visa extension. We have had lawyers make mistakes with paperwork and charge for every sneeze, but Mr. Udall has been absolutely impeccable with his paperwork. He is thorough to a point of fault , if there is a thing as that when it comes to USCIS. He goes out of his way when he has taken on the job. His works hard for you and he is very reasonably priced. I have always felt I was in great hands.
