John Ward Holbus

I had a DUI that was much more serious then your standard "had one too many and was stopped for speeding" DUI. I was looking at major jail time and a whole host of other unacceptable penalties. John didn't lie to me and tell me we were going to get the whole thing dismissed like some other lawyers ...I met with. He told me what was the realistic best case scenario and he got exactly that. He got the vast majority of the charges dismissed, I only had to serve a few weeks on home detention and my license was not taken away for 10 years. John was honest and did what he said he would. I never once got feeling like I was being sold a bag of goods like I have with some other lawyers I had dealt with. I highly recommend John.

When I got my DUI my boss told me I would lose my job if I lost my driver's license. My BAC was only a .08 so I thought I could win the DMV hearing myself. The DMV ruled against me and was about to take my license. I hired John and he was able to get the DA to offer me a hellmandollar waiver and o...verturn the DMV's decision. I plead to a wet reckless but I was able to keep my job and license. I can not recommend Mr. Holbus enough.

I was arrested for a DUI. My blood alcohol was only .01 but they DA refused to dismiss my case because of the (legal) prescription drugs they found in my blood. The trial was a stressful three days, but Mr. Holbus was professional and reassured me the entire time. The jury only deliberated for 30 m...inutes before coming back with a not guilty verdict. I could not recommend John enough to anyone who is looking for an excellent criminal defense attorney.

I was charged with felony assault when my coworker attacked me at my place of work. It took 8 months but Mr. Holbus got my case thrown out after the preliminary hearing. The DA kept wanting me to take a deal and Mr. Holbus kept telling me that they had no case. The case was finally thrown out and al...l charged were dismissed.
