For more than 23 years I served as a prosecutor in Placer County, where I have handled cases from petty theft and DUI's to Child Molestation, Domestic Violence, Rape and Murder. I was also the 'strikes' prosecutor prior to being promoted to a supervisor. For over eight years I was the Supervising Attorney for the Family Protection Unit, a specialty unit which handled sex offenses, murder, child abuse, human trafficking, domestic violence, elder abuse and child abduction, amongst other crimes. However I was again promoted to become the Assistant District Attorney, where I supervised the supervisers, in additon to handling the administrative functions of the office. This was done while I also continued to handle complex and serious cases, including a torture case, homicides and human trafficking.

Now I am using those 23 years of experience to work to defend and protect the rights of those accused of committing crimes.
