His History Goes Way Back to 2001 People !!!

This Horrific Attorney goes way, way back people. Back in 2001, when Miller was partners with (Names I think, as I try to block them out) Whitney Davis, Charter & Miller ! He dumped us and walked away on our case, without a word for our mold infested, faulty constructed home built by Richmond Am...erican in Natomas Station, Folsom, CA ! Found out John Miller had actually represented Richmond American builders before taking our case. Too bad we had know money left to sue him ! I could say sooo much more, but I truly don't want to relive the hell we dealt with for 5 years after meeting this horrific excuse for a lawyer.

Look before you leap!

I hired Miller Law Firm to represent my family and I in a Mold case/ Landlord Tenant. It was a disaster. He was very egger to sign me as a client and once signed he then flip flopped! With me they were very inconsistent, disorganized, Horrible communications and very challenging! I found some of his... statements to be untruthful! He referred me to medical experts then saying I had to pay. He even set up mediation and sent us the bill to pay before mediation took place although it was agreed he would cover cost. We had to continually hound him for answers or to get status. Although our case was Mold /Landlord Tenant and so was our agreement they said they would not represent us in a unlawful detainer which is a Landlord Tenant action and dealt with the Mold and un-occupancy of the unit. I was hospitalized and due to the condition of the unit we were not able to occupy it shortly after leasing and moved into a hotel. Luckily we had renters insurance who was paying part of our hotel bill. Suddenly my insurance company cancelled payment saying Miller had requested the remaining funds go to his office which in essence left my family homeless. Miller denied they had made any such request but I was able to receive proof otherwise. We had changed the agreement to a contingency agreement so he would cover cost which he was not doing. That he was to gain a larger percentage share of any settlement agreement of which we were billed mediation cost and he refused to pay. Although we asked a few times to sit down with him and meet face to face we never even meet the man. Given the circumstances of this and the other above mentioned and unmentioned factors, I fired him. Not someone I woud want to represent me!

John Miller is a professional and competent lawyer.

Mr. Miller represented me on a mold litigation matter. He worked on contingency and had my apartment inspected by a high quality inspector and did all the work necessary to win a judgement in my favor. He did not call me or 'keep me updated.' After reading these reviews I was worried that he was a sc...am. That is the farthest from the truth. Mr. Miller showed up for mediation with a large file that he had been working on the whole time. I appreciate that he did not call me during every step of the legal process. This showed by the judgement awarded that he was competently working on my legal issues and did not need my help. He had all the facts organized and ready. Mr. Miller spends his time working your case. Let him do his job. You will be amazed.

Past client complaint

We had problems with communication from the day we signed a contract with Miller Law and as a result of their poor communication we had no idea what to expect during the legal process. Miller Law did not properly disclose upfront and was negligent in handling our case. Miller Law would rarely return ...phone calls. We were very disappointed in Miller Law's performance for a number of years as our attorney. Our case eventually settled with a different attorney and not Miller Law.

stole childrens trust account settlement money

My family retained miller law inc in 06. We were in a non disclosure case for mold.Mr. miller painted a big picture and referred to our case as a no- brainer. He took our 5,000 and then not even two months later demanded another 5,000 . He then started his triple billing and putting numerous lawyers ...on our case . It seemed like we were always giving his company money and we had no idea where we ever stood in our case. He threatened to drop us . We came up with more money. When calling the law firm it would take weeks before anything. We drove to his office they seemed irritated with us. But never irritated when taking our money. Mr. miller was cold heartless and insensitive towards our family. He basically sai our case was worth 650,000 dollars, but when pushed to live up to that and we ran ry of our money he said we would be lucky to get anything. so we settled with one of the people we were suing. For a lousy 18,000 I paid him more than that. H e told my family to put it in our childrens names so we did . He put that money right in his own bank account. Mr. miller abandoned our case weeks before our trial. Claiming he doesnt work for free. He gave horrible advice and we also ended up losing our house and we sold our business to fund our lawsuit that went no where.....He took advantage of my family and our trust account funds. We went into court pro-per and looked hideous in front of the people we were suing. The judge felt horrible for my family. We took our case to other lawyers and they reviewe our case for free and we learned we have a great case against him for malpractice. But he has no insurance. Mr. miller agreed to give my 18,000 back but what about the money he was paid to represent me? He caused major depression and stress for three years. He is not the best mold attorney.any ?s. [phone number removed]. there is a miller law inc victim support group..please dONT BE THE NEXT VICTIM ON HIS LIST...
