Sara Anne Anderson

Sara A. Anderson is the CEO and a shareholder of Sherlock // Anderson,pc. In addition, she is certified by the Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of California as a family law specialist. Sara has also received professional training as am attorney mediator.  The approach to litigation and to mediation are vastly different, but Sara strives to aid her clients in accomplishing an outcome that fits their families.  Many times this can be accomplished outside the courtroom, where parties have more control over what is the right fit for their family than what other prescribe as the right fit.  However, there are those cases were resolution and answers can only be found by way of litigation and intervention.  In either scenerio, it is important to have an attorney you can trust, rely on and in some cases be your backbone.  Sara provides this for her clients, and her reputation in the Placer and Sacramento legal communities support this. 

Sara specializes in family law in the Greater Sacramento area emphasizing Placer, Yolo, El Dorado and Sacramento,Counties. Her practice is focused on family law litigation, including marital and domestic partnership dissolution, parental and third-party custody, support, property division, business valuation, UCCJEA, guardianships, premarital agreements and domestic violence protection. Sara is also licensed in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of California.

Prior to developing Sherlock // Anderson, pc with Partner, Jason Robert Sherlock, Sara worked her way through every stage of a law firm.  As a result, Sara is not an attorney that has to rely on others to accomplish the tasks necessary for a successful conclusion. Where Sara brings the balance of power by focusing on mediation and successfully negotiatiing the most difficult cases, her partner Mr. Sherlock takes the more particular and stubbornly unresolvable matters before the court and artfully presents his client's matters in a way that is aimed at achieving the best possible result. Jason and Sara often work collectively on their respective cases to ensure that each client gains the maximum exposure in options, and ideas, in their representation and as a result are affored the balance between mediation and litigation.
