About me

Jason R. Sherlock is one of the founding partners of Sherlock Clark LLP.  In addition, he serves as the managing partner for the family law division. Jason works closely with the courts and the legal community as a member of the Placer County Child Custody Sub - Commitee.  Offices are located at 2250 Douglas Blvd. Suite 140, Roseville CA 95661, and by appointment at 11140 Fair Oaks Blvd. Suite 500,  Sacramento Ca.

Jason received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento in 2005, with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and a Pre-Law emphasis.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2007, where he was active in competitive trial advocacy, alternative dispute resolution and received awards for his Pro Bono work in the San Diego area.

Jason practices family law in the Greater Sacramento area emphasizing Placer, Yolo, El Dorado, Sacramento, Sutter, Yuba and Amador Counties.  His practice is focused on family law litigation, including marital and domestic partnership dissolution, parental and third-party custody, support, property division, business valuation, UCCJEA, guardianships, premarital agreements, and juvenile dependency matters.  Jason began his practice with an emphasis on juvenile law and over the years has expanded to all areas of family law including estate planning.  Jason is also licensed in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of California where he handles bankruptcy matters associated with the family law practice..

Jason began his legal career as a Juvenile Specialist and went on to develop his skills as a successful trial lawyer. Prior to founding Sherlock Clark LLP with his partner Brian Clark, Jason developed thriving family law practices for 2 different statewide law firms.  He has handled all areas of family law from the simplest amicable dissolution to complex divisions of assets and child custody.  Where Mr. Clark brings the expertise of real property, mortgage and property litigation, Jason fulfills the domestic needs of his clients by ensuring all family related issues are covered.

Jason has lectured on issues regarding juvenile dependency, human trafficking, child custody and jurisdiction including individual parental rights.  He frequently appears as a special guest on a CA money talk radio broadcast,  discussing the intricate relationship between real estate,  investing and family law.  Jason has worked locally with Sacramento CASA and Fresno EEOC to educate the community on family law issues.
