I cannot recommend this attorney. I contacted his office seeking representation in a sensitive family law matter and paid for services. After accepting payment, I was informed via text that he could not represent me because he knew my ex, who is also an attorney. A proper conflict check should occur... before taking someone's money, not after. What I find deeply alarming is that he then contacted my ex after I had consulted with him. When someone reaches out for legal help in a high-conflict family situation, especially when they are already seeking domestic violence support, confidentiality and discretion are paramount. Instead, I was left feeling exposed and blindsided. In family law matters, safety, privacy, and professional boundaries are not optional; they are fundamental. This experience demonstrated a lack of care and judgment that I find unacceptable for someone acting as an officer of the court. Especially given the domestic violence context and concerns for my safety. Prospective clients should be extremely cautious and clarify conflict procedures and confidentiality protections before sharing sensitive information.
