Very Satisfied
Very pleased with my experience with Matthew. Matthew set up my estate plan documents including my Trust, Will, Living Will, Power of Attorney and Advance Healthcare Directive. At the end of the process he delivers a binder with all original documents laid out and all instructions to fund the trust. ...

Below expectations
Met with him for all of 10 minutes, he did not send any paperwork prior to the meeting for me to prepare. When I call a day before the meeting, assistant informs me that they will research about the pre meeting paperwork and get back. Later I get a voicemail that they mailed paperwork but it seems ...
I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Every client's situation is unique, and we provide personal and custom estate planning for people who chose to work with us. This does not mean that each client gets to dictate our process or how we provide our services, anymore than a patient dictates the appropriate medical advice or what tests a doctor performs. I've spent years developing my firm's process to consistently provide clients with excellent service in estate planning. Regarding your comment that "we all know how lawyers work by billing you for their time," I don't understand this, as practically all my planning work is on a flat fee, and you are essentially complaining about having too much communication and contact with me, whereas most people complain about not enough communication with their lawyer. It seems like you want to get in and out of a lawyer's office in one day with a "check-the-box" type of estate plan. I recommend you contact a different lawyer, as those are not the types of services I provide. I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Not someone I would recommend
Matthew was nice but difficult to get in touch with. I would have to send 2 or 3 e-mails and leave messages before I would hear back from him on multiple occasions. There were several times when I would ask a question and he would respond with information he had already provided me or ask me to pro...
