I believed I was being targeted by my medical director at Emanuel Medical Center due to my Race. I reached out to Mark Adams in search of a lawyer. He explained to me that discrimination occurs when employees are treated differently than other employees because of their race. He listened to my storie...s and he took my case on. With his help I was able to prove I was indeed discriminated against and I received a nice settlement. He fought for me when no one else wanted to take my case and he didn’t accept the first offer. I was nervous, I was scared, I was in shock when I got laid off from work being a top performer. My girlfriend that also was laid off interviewed several lawyers. I was on the fence to even go down this route. I just wanted to process what had happened to me and heal. Talking to Mark I felt a great s...ense or relief and a quick honest response on whether I had a case or not. Other lawyers we spoke to played with us in the sense that they were not giving us much feedback on whether or not we had a case and did not make me feel confident or give me the warm and fuzzes.
