Catherine was my accountant for a protracted, contentious 5-year long divorce. She and her husband, Jon, worked as a team. They were a breath of fresh air, as they were the only ones in the entire affair who were not greedy. She was honest and straight-up with me, letting me know which claims were worth fighting for. Also unlike the lawyers, she made me feel like I was a priority. She worked late nights and weekends when necessary. She was accessible and responsive. When my husband gave me a 200-page accountant's report a few days before Labor Day and just one week before our hearing, Catherine made time over the Labor Day weekend to prepare for the case. Though I was not always happy with things, I came to realize over the years that that was more due to the nature of the bitter war and not any fault of hers . She and Jon were able to show me that while always treating me with the utmost respect. My ordeal is now finally over, and I believe the outcome was a fair one.
