Eleven months ago, my wife, as a pedestrian, was hit by an SUV in a parking lot. I retained Jeff as a result of a collision with a motorist on my bicycle. Jeff was quick to respond and met with me immediately to interview me concerning the details of my accident. His calm demeanor and detailed approach were very reassuring to me as I had never been involved in this type of liti...gation previously. I was copied on all correspondence which he made on my behalf with the other party's insurance company. When my emotions got the better of me, Jeff was great about educating me on the legal processes involved. He was able to settle my case efficiently and professionally without the need for a lengthy court appearance and achieve a fair settlement for me based on the losses I sustained as the result of my accident.

Jeff was very easy and pleasant to work with. He avoided using "lawyerspeak" at all times.The case he handled for me was complicated by the fact that the accident occurred in Southern California, and the insurance company was foreign. At every turn Jeff had to educate the insurance company's attorne...y on California , and at times, Federal law. He persisted and was able to settle the case, to my satisfaction, with timing that exceeded my expectations.

Mr. Janoff seems to be one of the most incompetent lawyers we have met. I was injured in an auto accident and although we had multiple firms willing to take the case, Mr. Janoff was recommended by a friend so we went with him. Had to fire him 3 months into the case as he was not timely or efficient.... He did not seem to care about our case or have any priority for it. It was impossible to get a full response from him on most items as he "had to review" case law. Does not seem knowledgeable or skilled to be practicing law by himself, he always had to refer to other experts/lawyers for advice. Would not recommend him. We since then have hired a new firm and we are confident that they have our case under control. Should be settled out of court very soon.

I have known Mr. Janoff for 15 years and he has handled matters for my family and several friends. I have the up most respect for his ethics, knowledge, litigation skills and follow-through.
