In 2009 my wife and I received word that our mortgage had been sold to another bank. We were not concerned until we received a foreclosure notice on our front door. We had been making our mortgage payments on time since the transfer of our mortgage yet the bank said we were in the rears by about $17,...000. I took time off work to figure out what was going on. This was the beginning of an eleven year nightmare.
