Heather Murray Allan

I had a very disappointing experience with Heather Allan. In my opinion, her approach consistently escalated tension rather than resolving issues. In the legal documents she drafted, even minor matters were described using inflammatory and exaggerated language, seemingly designed to provoke the other... party and prevent peaceful resolution. Whenever any form of agreement was close to being reached, she would quickly move to take over the drafting and filing process, ensuring she could charge for both preparing the agreement and submitting it to the court. This gave the impression that maximizing billable actions took precedence over achieving efficient or amicable outcomes. While she maintains a polished and professional image, I found her methods to be more about creating friction and generating fees than truly representing the best interests of her client. I would not recommend her services based on my experience.

Heather is a nice person but DO NOT mix nice with a good professional lawyer. she is easily bullied but opposing councel and the judges. She will not stand up for you at all. She and her office makes so many administrative mistakes and the worst part, they charge you for everything. My party practica...lly did all the work for her. She makes up her fees up front and charges a lot of money throughout the case but billing you for stupid things. She doesn't do a good job keeping you informed about anything unless she can find a way to bill you for it. All her correspondence is by mail and shocklingly you get this big bill at the end of the month only to realize there wasn't much material in her correspondence in the first place. She is only about money, not about winning for the client. She definitely doesn't look out for your interest at all. Now I am hearing from other lawyers that she isn't very reputable. She isn't known for winning or known as a good lawyer. She is very easily initmated by other lawyers and judges. She overcharged me on everything, the worst part, ididn't get anything out of my case. In fact I had to let her go and hire another atttorney. She tries to keep up the appearance of a professional lawyer. I think she cares for more on how she looks in her suits and her handbags more. Oh and btw, her taking a vacation during your trial wouldn't bother her the least no matter how important the issue may be. She also needs to hire really good interns and junior attorneys in her office. They are just as bad as her.DONT DONT DONT waste your good money on her. She is not result oriented at all. She should have her attorney priviledges revoked. She needs to go back to law school and work on doing more training with working for more lawyers before she claims to be a partner. How she is a partner is a wonder. Spend more money on someone else and gett better results cause she doesn't care.
