For over a decade Dennis R. Ingols has helped many clients with family law matters. He has helped partners formalize amicable divorces and break-ups, as well as resolving high-conflict divorce cases.
He has wide experience in cases involving Child Protective Services (also known as "CPS" or "DFCS" or "DCFS.") He has helped parents through the various phases of CPS investigations and juvenile dependency matters.
He has successfully handled federal civil rights cases against law enforcement and CPS. He has the knowledge to anticipate and overcome the ever-changing set of immunities and defenses the law provides the police and CPS to prevent victims from recovering financial damages.
He has litigated in 15 counties, three of the four federal districts in California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Ingols worked for Robert R. Powell, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in various areas of civil litigation, including family law, civil rights, and juvenile dependency.
EDUCATION
He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Mr. Ingols is fluent in English and Spanish, and even speaks a little Portuguese.
