Susan Gail Diamondstone

Do not hire this attorney! I hired her for a divorce case. During our first meeting, she kept taking personal calls while I sat there waiting. She doesn't have a receptionist, paralegal, or assistant and told me I'd need to hire my own. She was very unprofessional, frequently called me at late at n...ight which I thought was inappropriate. During our second meeting, she proceeded to taunt and irritate my ex and his attorney which was problematic since I had an amicable relationship with my ex. When I didn't return her phone call, she proceeded to contact a family member to "find me" and discussed my case with them! She is disorganized, bossy, condescending and difficult to deal with. The final straw was when she insinuated I might have psychological issues (which I don't). I have replaced her with another attorney and it's the best decision I could have made. Steer clear of this one!

I retained Diamondstone in a domestic-relations case in 1989. Diamondstone was a zealous advocate and gave mostly reasonable advice about legal strategy and tactics and non-legal protection for emotional health in the wake of domestic-relations conflicts. However, Diamondstone also used what I consid...ered to be unethical “there is something wrong with you” tactics, did other things that I considered violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct, and charged fees which I believed to be disproportionate for the services rendered. In 1992 the King Country District Court validated my belief about excess fees by awarding me a judgment in the amount of $4,960 against Diamondstone, plus relief from paying $2,728 plus fees charged by her collection agency, in case 91-009507.

Worst experience of my life! Bossy and crazy. She thinks everyone is out to get her and her dog. She would charge me for time I was in her office while she was yelling at other clients and lawyers on the phone. She did nothing but hurt my case. This all resulted in arbitration. Waste of time and mon...ey! She should not be allowed to practice law.
