Jimmy Nguyen

As such, Jimmy Nguyen believes in helping his community grow and prosper. Jimmy’s commitment to public service and the community is evidenced by his service to the San Jose Evergreen College District as chair of the $500 million bond oversight committee and Santa Clara Valley Water District as a member of the Safe, Clean Water Independent Monitoring Committee tasked with monitoring almost $1 billion of taxpayer fund expenditures. 

Jimmy serves as the membership chair to the Boy Scouts Coyote Creek District covering the City of Milpitas through the City of San Jose’s Berryessa, and Evergreen neighborhoods with over 2,000 members. Jimmy also consistently donates blood to the American Red Cross three to six times per year.

Lastly, Jimmy is involved with local politics and even ran for San Jose city council in 2012, advocating for more police services to address the dramatic rise in violence and burglaries hurting his fellow residents. 

The City of San Jose is the tenth largest city in America with a population of one million; and is one of the wealthiest cities per capita in America as it is the Capital of Silicon Valley, a major technological hub. The 11-member San Jose City Council controls cash and assets worth over $2.5 billion.
