If you want to pay few thousand dollars for NOTHING, hire Jammie Harris! I don't know how she got my name and address and send me flyer after I got public prosecution. I regret to hire her just talking to her once. I hope I could read yelp review earlier, the previous 2 reviewer gave her really lo...w rating. I am an immigrant, my English is limited. But I wrote this review in order to help other people in the future who doing research on yelp to select their attorney. After I signed contract and paid money in full, Jammie wouldn't give me her phone number, the only person I could reach is administrator who only pick up incoming calls and couldn't give me any legal advice. The only way I could reach her is through email, she always reply late or just write down very short reply without explain much on my concern. She always late for few hours (not minutes) on my pretrial and some time she didn't even show up after I spent few hours in the court to wait for her. She sent 3 times other attorneys to the court to request judge putting my case in continuation. My simple case dragged for over 8 months. I got a chance to chat with the court clerk, she feel sympathetic on my situation, she told me that not only my case, other cases who represented by Jammie Harris are all like mine, she always left her client in the court room for long waiting. Overall, she is not a responsible attorney, didn't do much for my case, and eventually totally lost my case. She doesn't care what the outcome is for my case, because if my case didn't get dismissed, she would let me pay more money to go to jury trial. I really tired of her service,

Jamie was a referral from a friend who used her years ago for a bankruptcy. I needed a criminal attorney and my friend told me to call Jamie's law office. Jamie told me she did criminal law now and no longer did bankruptcy and so after looking at many positive reviews I hired The Law Office of Jami...e Harris for my case. Jamie listened and actually investigated the issues I asked her to investigate. She didn't over charge me and showed up to every single court appearance except one. She called me the night before my third court date and told me she had to hire another attorney because she was stuck in a trial. Jamie worked hard on my case and in the end she was able to reduce it to an infraction with a small fine. I am very pleased with the service I received from The Law Office of Jamie Harris and recommend Jamie to everyone.

I would recommend Jamie Harris to anyone. I was a friend of a person charged with a crime. I went to all of is consultations, court dates, and meetings. We met about 6 attorneys and due to Jamie's assertive personality and how respectful she treated us, we went with her. Jamie and her staff are a...mazing. I never have any difficulty reaching anyone. If I leave a message I get a call right back. Anytime we have asked to come in to review the file the door has been open, no questions asked. I know Jamie is always in Court but you are never made to feel unimportant. She focuses on you when you are meeting with her and in court. I saw a person come up to her and ask her for her card in court and she apologized and told them they would have to wait because she was there for US and needed to help us first. I was surprised. I hired The Law Office of Jamie N Harris to help me with a criminal matter. My former business partner filed a police report against me and for the first time in my life I was facing criminal charges. As a single mom and business owner I was scared. I did not know what to do. Jamie Harris was rec...ommended by a mutual friend and after meeting with her and her staff I knew why my friend insisted I hire her. She was kind and explained the process to me. She worked with my financial situation and never talked down to me if I was late with a payment. I emailed Jamie numerous documents pertaining to my case and she was always great at responding and telling me if she needed more. After about four court appearances I received a call from Jamie Harris that MY CASE WAS DISMISSED. She sent the District Attorney documents along with a letter explaining the documents. She in fact spoke with others in my industry and used them as experts to explain to the District Attorney how I was innocent. I will always be grateful for The Law Office of Jamie N Harris. She in fact treated me with respect as her logo says and I never felt like a criminal (as I was being charged) when I spoke with her or her staff.

I hired Jamie to handle my family law case. I came to Jamie through a friend s referral and on the coat tails of being hoodwinked by another attorney who, REALLY did not give my divorce case the attention it needed. Jamie didn t smooth talk me, but simply listened and related to another human being w...ho was caught in a difficult circumstance. In court she was on the mark about addressing and resolving the issues I expressed were important to me. She got me the results I was after. What I didn t realize (as probably most people who get caught in the legal system don t), but later learned from her and her staff is, it is not all up to my own attorney or the court system to get things taken care of. The other side s attorney can drag their feet, misfile court documents, loose documents, postpone/reschedule court dates and make mysery for me as the client, and I can say honestly before learning this fact, I focused my frustration at my attorney when things were not moving along as fast as I want them to. I ve seen my case file, and it takes up over 1/2 of a filing cabinet drawer. Jamie s office has worked harder and swifter to finalize my divorce than the previous attorney had any intention of doing. Julie, her paralegal is a fantastic negotiator, document writer, with a no-nonsense approach to managing my case, not to mention she knows family law extremely well. Jamie and her staff have given me space to breathe again. They treated me with respect and kindness that I will never forget or take for granted. For the people who complain, my advice is: open your eyes to the bigger picture, educate YOURSELF, and (for goodness sake) be honest with yourself: you got yourself into the mess you re in. I know I did in my case, as I have suffered being a poor judge of character in my love life. I m glad I have Jamie, and Julie and I have no doubt that I will not entrust my life situations now and in the future, with any other law firm but hers.
