Mona Deldar

I had an absolutely frustrating experience with Deldar Legal for my personal injury case. My accident happened in March 2024, and my medical treatment ended in July 2024. Yet, more than 6 months later, I still haven't received my settlement check. The timeline of incompetence: Release was sent ...back to Deldar Legal on 10/31/2024, which means all documents from my end are done. By 12/6/2024, no progress, no status updates of any kind On 1/31/2025 (THREE MONTHS after sending the release), the call center claimed they hadn't received the check, but no one bothered to investigate why it was taking so long On 2/4/2025, After my calling, Delia from Deldar finally emailed saying the adjuster needed additional info (information that should have been requested back in October/November 2024!) I promptly replied to Delia's email but received no response On 2/20/2025, After my calling, Delia called back claiming she "forgot to hit send" on her email reply On 2/25/2025, the call center told me the adjuster sent the check (but they hadn't received it) Just three days later (2/28/2025), the call center contradicted themselves saying the adjuster hadn't even approved the check yet! Throughout this entire ordeal, callbacks rarely happened, and I constantly had to chase them for updates. They kept making excuses and provided contradictory information. The lack of proactive communication and follow-up was appalling. I'm baffled by all the positive reviews for this firm. My experience has been nothing but delays, excuses, and poor communication. I would strongly advise anyone considering Deldar Legal to look elsewhere for representation.

Deldar Legal dropped me as a client via TEXT MESSAGE after taking the word of the dishonest dogs owners whose TWO dogs chased me from across the street, unprovoked. Ultimately causing a catastrophic injury to my spine. From the very beginning the dog owners did everything they possible could to avoi...d accountability. They stone walled me and refused to provide me with ANY helpful information to initiate an insurance claim. The dogs owners ignored me in hopes I would go away and then painted me as some threatening villain when I lawfully and respectfully tried to make contact with one of the defendants at their job inside of a bank, and then later at their home, where I NEVER stepped foot on their property until I was given permission to step forward. After receiving letters from Deldar on my behalf, the defendants called Deldar and spoke with Susie Montes. The defendants told Susie Montes a handful of lies and and then informed her of the temporary restraining order that was pending. Immedaietly after that phone call Deldar Legal then proceeded to drop me as a client VIA TEXT MESSAGE without doing ANY due diligence, fact checking or story corroboration. Even the most basic due diligence would have shown that the claims they verbalized to Susie Montes over the phone were NOWHERE to be found in the official written report. Imagine getting a TEXT message out of the blue, being informed you have been kicked to the curb without so much as a phone call I spoke with Susie Montes after repeated attempts to get an explanation, she was nothing but cold, rude and dismissive. I was treated with utter disdain and no respect. I spent the next few days calling/texting/emailing as I understandably wanted to know exactly what was said by the defendants. After numerous messages to Mona Deldar, and continuous pleas for transparency she finally put me on a conference call with, herself and Susie, where I was reluctantly given the story they were told by the defendants. Any minimal attempt at due diligence would have shown obvious lies and inconsistencies throughout their verbal account, which was EXTREMELY different from what they alleged in their written statement. But Deldar didn't see fit to extend their own client the smallest bit of fairness, ethical professionalism or basic human decency. Then they conveniently informed me that they don't represent clients with restraining orders against them. I asked Mona if that stipulation was in our contract and she said "of course not" She just decided to make up that rule and use it as the primary reason they so coldly and cruelly dropped me via text message. I sat there on the phone, heartbroken and devastated. I have documentation, screenshots proving everything I have stated here. I also left a review on Yelp. Deldar Legal cannot refute ANYTHING I have stated here because it is %100 facts. ANYBODY can get a temporary restraining order against someone, but they have to PROVE their allegations at the official court date. The restraining order was DENIED on 3/8/2022 but I was never given the chance to prove the defendants were lying because the law firm that was supposed to be fighting for ME, dropped me after taking the word of the defendants who had been caught lying about the dog incident even happening. One of the reasons I was by Mona about dropping me was that the defendants claim the date of loss was wrong, however they had already admitted IN WRITING that the incident took place. I do not see why that small detail would have any bearing on them keeping my case, whether I got attacked by two dogs on a Monday or Wednesday it seems pretty irrelevant given the fact the defendants ADMITTED to the incident happening. I hired this firm because they said they would fight for me and instead they chose to believe a one sided story from the defendants without doing a single second of fact checking. see yelp for screenshots since I am unable to post any here.
