Mark Johannessen represented me in a custody dispute between me and my ex girlfriend who decided upon having the baby that she and her family were entitled to raise our son without me being involved in the picture, except for paying child support. Her family had far more resources that I did and pain...ted me as the bad guy. Mark calmly taught me how to proceed to best maximize my chances at obtaining a fair custody agreement, he acted ethically, yet very effectively in how he approached my case, and was excellent at logically addressing the false claims and arguments I was up against. Ultimately, I was able to obtain the equal custody agreement with my son due to Mark's skill in working with the court system, and the other side's attorney.

I hired Mr. Johannessen to represent me in a custody issue I was having with my ex-wife who had made some very serious yet false accusations against me. When I went to Mark I was terrified as I had never been in a situation like this before. He did his best to negotiate with my ex and her attorney and we were able to settle out of court due to his due diligence in the matter. This ended up saving me a lot of money as going to trial is a very expensive process. Mr. Johannessen also used his wisdom gained through his years of experience as a family law attorney to properly set expectations for me by informing me how the family law court system works, etc. I was able to go into court with confidence knowing how things would most likely turn out.
